Sam Wong is a Hong Kong born Melbourne photographer & filmmaker
specialising in fashion, portraiture and documentary based in Paris.

Sam is a creative story teller, obsessed with capturing the
unfettered side of life on a daily basis.

As a former b-boy, his work is inspired by movement, music, fashion and popular culture – using his skills as both a photographer and filmmaker to create beautiful visual stories.

His passion for traveling and photography has allowed him to work on both commissioned and personal projects between Asia, Europe, Australia and USA – shooting exclusive campaigns for Hennessy, Nike, Mercedes, Lacoste, Chandon, Canon, Footlocker, JD sports and Champion – with features in leading publications such as Vogue magazine, Complex magazine and Rolling Stones magazine.

Prior to his time shooting commercially, he was selected as an intern for renowned photography agency Magnum Photos in New York. It was there that Sam refined his skills to sequence imagery into strong fashion narratives, as well as exploring the art of documentary making – both of which are now imperative to his work.

Sam’s style is observant, compassionate and doesn’t miss a beat.
