Sam Wong is a Hong Kong born Melbourne based photographer
specialising in fashion, portraiture and documentary.
Sam is an ardent truth teller, obsessed with capturing the
unfettered side of life on a daily basis.
With a strong interest in fashion, music and popular culture,
Sam has developed an upbeat style exploring distinctive
characteristic between various underground subcultures.
His passion for traveling and photography has allowed him to work on both
commissioned and personal projects between Asia, Europe, Australia and USA.
Sam has shot exclusive projects for brands including Nike, Vans, Fitbit,
Ricoh Cameras,Hype DC, Mitchell & Ness, Kloke, National Gallery Of Victoria
and leading publications such as Complex Magazine, So It Goes,
No Substance Mag UK and This Is Junk Magazine.
Prior to his time shooting commercially, he was selected as an intern
for renowned photography agency Magnum Photos in New York.
It was there that he refined his skills to sequence imagery
into a strong fashion story and documentary assignment,
both of which are now imperative to his work.
